I wanted to take this opportunity to thank you all over the last year with my search.
I have recently accepted a wonderful position as the Executive Assistant to the CFO at The Nielsen Company and will be starting this coming Wednesday. Luckily for me, the recognized my years of experience and talent over (unfortunately) not having a degree.

Three resumes - three jobs
I am a true believer as they would say. I first used the services of Resume,Etc. in 1998 after a job search that had been long and fruitless. I had no idea what I was doing wrong and could not get my foot in any door. I had work experience, education and references but something was wrong. Someone gave me the name of Resumes Etc. and Fred Mariani. A new resume and the phone rang, within weeks I accepted a position with a company that I held for nine years.

Nine years later I was back at Resumes Etc. and telling Fred that it was time to move on for financial reasons. The resume got me in the door of a leading handbag and small accessory manufacturer/retailer. I ended up getting an offer for 10% higher than was my bottom line.

Marching forward to 2009 and the toughest job market in twenty-five years, I walked into Fred's office and told him I could not longer stand the commute from Milford to Norwalk and had to get closer. That was late summer 2009 and in December, 2009 I landed the new position in Milford with a step up the ladder and a salary increase.

Each resume has been crafted to highlight my talents and put me in the best possible light. They snapshot who I am as a professional and the skills I bring to the company. They get me in the DOOR. They open the DOOR, if the DOOR is not open, I do not get the chance to sell myself.

Fred sets you up in the best possible light and I have sent numerous people to him and never hesitate to recommend him.

I just wanted to thank you for helping me re-vamp my resume. I sent it out one evening to an advertisement I was interested in and by 9:30 the next morning I had a phone call and an e-mail from the employer wanting to set up an interview with me sooner than later. I would like to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the excellent service you provided. Several months ago I came to you looking for resume / cover letter services. I had my hopes set on a specific job posted at a local university, but knew that I also had to keep my eyes open for other opportunities in both academia and the corporate world. Thank you so much for your job search assistance. I am awaiting a final confirmation from Northrop Grumman concerning my job offer in Bethpage, NY. They have already transferred my security clearance from the military to their company. They are in the process of getting the test results from my drug screening and conducting a background check. Once that is complete, it should be final. The job offer is for a Level II Program Manager in the Aerospace Systems sector. The pay and benefits are excellent.

So, with the grace of God, I should have a definite job in the next week or so.

Okay I know you said that I was going to get phone calls and emails, but you never said how CRAZY it was going to be! I need an assistant to take the messages. All I did yesterday was post the new and improved resumes on Monster, Hot Jobs and Career Builder and I had 20 calls/emails! What did you do put some type of spell on the resumes......lo!
